Fun in the Cronulla-fornia Sun

I normally never win anything, that’s ususally my older brother’s department (and, yes, he won the genetic jackpot too). However this time I did win something - a pair of sweet, sweet shades from Raen Opticsfor subsrcibing to Foam Symmetry mag. Cheers!

The f-off amazing pic is of their team rider Al Knost - I lifted the image from the Raen blog.

An oldy but a goody. Love this video of Dane Reynolds and Dan Malloy. It’s great because they’re surfing tiny waves and making it look so fun. It gives you something to aspire to do in the everyday waves at your local beach. Also, love the vibe and production quality of the vid.

I personally am inspired the attitude and surfing-style of both these guys. Dan Malloy’s forehand cuttys are up there with the most aesthetically pleasing out there, as are Dane’s. Both personal favs.

Me trying to be all ‘soul’ on a bottom-turn, hehe. This was taken up on the northern beaches of Sydney. Thanks for the shot Matty J!

Yesterday, my birthday, I had the day off, yiew. Filmed with my Go-Pro. It was tiny & I surfed terrible, but I managed to capture this sweet little hack of local shredder Beau Junk (we were at Wanda Beach, Cronulla). This is just a frame-grab and I am consistently blown away by the quality these little GoPros can produce, especially since they’re around 300 odd-dollars or so…

Matty Hoy - Hack!

Mr. The Sea Life shot these. His photographic skills are epic, my surfing & photo-editing skills are not. Non-the-less here I am doing a l’il cutty.
